Dubai: Software manufacturer and electronics solution provider Emaratech on Monday extended its sponsorship of Al Shabab for two more years.

Emaratech has been sponsoring Al Shabab’s senior football team for the last three years.

“It is important for both of us — Al Shabab and Emaratech — to be together for a longer period as our philosophies match. Our company thrives on creativity and talent and this is also true of this Al Shabab team,” Thani Al Zaffe’in, Director General and Board Member, Emaratech, told Gulf News.

“Through a partnership like this, we would like to encourage the concept of healthy mind in a healthy body while also pushing youngsters towards making sport a part of their lifestyle,” he added.

Al Zaffe’in further stressed that the outreach policy of the company is firmly in keeping with the values of a club like Al Shabab. “Emaratech is positioning its brand name by using the universal language of football. It is a win-win situation for both where football is the uniting factor,” he said.

Al Shabab board member Mohammad Mattar Al Merri welcomed Emaratech’s renewed interest in the club. “This is definitely a value addition for Al Shabab. Not only do we get the financial benefits from this partnership but we will also have the pleasure of adding to the Al Shabab family,” Al Merri said.
