Dubai: UAE and Al Ain midfielder Omar Abdul Rahman was unveiled as an ambassador for UAE-based telecommunications service provider etisalat on Thursday.
Etisalat’s signing of the 21-year-old Gulf Cup and UAE Pro-League winner was said to bring the brand closer to the sports community, while supporting local talent.
Etisalat CEO Saleh Al Abdouli said: “Etisalat’s agreement with Abdul Rahman reaffirms our values focused on excellence, ambition, creativity and commitment towards supporting UAE talent. He is the perfect brand ambassador as the next generation look up to him for his outstanding talent and achievements that were made in such a short period of time.”
