Dubai: Gulf News has teamed up with ICC World Twenty20 sponsors MoneyGram to offer readers the chance to win tickets to the final of the showpiece event in Sri Lanka.

UAE residents who correctly answer 21 questions over the next 21 days — starting on Tuesday — will be entered into a draw for the grand prize of a pair of tickets to the October 7 final, return air tickets, airport transfers and 5/4-star hotel accommodation.

Four runners-up will win a pair of tickets to one of the semi-final matches, plus flights, transfers and a hotel stay.

The World T20 takes place in Asia for the first time this year, with Sri Lanka hosting the world’s top 12 team from September 18 to October 7.

Holders England, who won the 2010 running of the competition in the West Indies, have been drawn alongside India and Afghanistan in Group A.

Group B contains Australia, West Indies and Ireland; Group C boasts hosts Sri Lanka, South Africa and Zimbabwe; while Pakistan, New Zealand and Bangladesh make up Group D.

Matches will be played in Colombo, Pallekele and Hambantota, with both semi-finals and the final taking place at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
