Dubai: England's Ryan Sidebottom picked up three wickets in his last two overs and produced a brilliant leaping catch to dismiss the dangerous Herschelle Gibbs to ensure his team a 39-run victory over South Africa.

Though Kevin Pietersen sparkled again to top score with 53 runs and walk away with the player of the match award, Sidebottom's contribution on the field was instrumental in restricting the strong South African batting line up.

It is a treat to watch Sidebottom, racing into bowl. He stands out amidst everyone with his long curly hair and six feet four inch tall, well-built frame.

Sidebottom is the son of Arnie Sidebottom, who was one among the many one- match wonders of England.

Arnie gave up cricket for a successful football career and played for Manchester United.

Sidebottom too had a tough start. When he found that his stint with Yorkshire was not good enough he moved to Nottinghamshire later emerging as the Player of the Year.
