Dubai: Punjab Gentlemen's Fayyaz Ahmad took five wickets to send Abu Dhabi Airport Technicians crashing out of the UAE Xchange Centre Division Two cricket tournament over the weekend.

The UAE international broke a threatening opening stand of 60 between Shiran Chaturange (34) and Waseem Shoukat (54) before running through the middle order to return with figures of 5 for 37 from his five overs to lead Punjab to a 27-run win and a final showdown with Nissan Al Masaood.

The automobile dealers ended William Hare Abu Dhabi Gymkhana's hopes of reaching another final with an emphatic 91-run win. Nissan posted 231 for 5 thanks to a collective effort from their batsmen before disciplined bowling saw them dismiss Gymkhana's strong batting for just 140.
