Jumeirah Cricket Club and Marwan Cricket Club won their league matches with ease in the fifth Dulsco Ramadan Cricket tournament being played at the Dubai Cricket Complex.
Marwan scored 192 runs in the allotted 25 over after losing 8 wickets against newly formed Age group team. Musthafa (36), Rajan Abraham (26) and Raji Mohan (23) were the main scorers. Age Group started positively, scoring 78 for 3 in the first 14 overs. Off-spinner Pradeep picked 3 for 12 with good support from Noufal and restricted Age group to 131 for 9.
In another match, Jumeirah beat ABN Amro by 55 runs. Jumeirah piled up 171 for 8 in 25 overs. William top scored with 43 while Azim chipped in with a quick fire 35.
Chasing the total ABN Amro were restricted to 116 in 22.2 overs. Karan fought a lonely battle with 52 runs. Paul (3 for 23) was the pick among the Jumeirah bowlers.
Earlier, Lloyds TSB Bank defeated Nucaf Tellicherry by seven wickets.
Batting first, Tellicherry were restricted to 101 for 9 in 25 overs through Devender (3 for 18) and Kamal Bhagat (2 for 6).
Lloyds Bank won in 19.4 overs.
