Mohsin gives credit to England bowling

Khan admitted that Pakistan did slip into a difficult position

Dubai: Pakistan team coach Mohsin Khan justified his decision to bat first and attributed his team's batting failure to "good bowling" from England bowlers.

"The pitch was good. We know the ball swings early in the morning, but we planned to put up a good total and put England under pressure. Our batsmen played a few unnecessary shots, but I will give credit to the England bowlers," said Khan who strongly believes that this series is a real test for all batsmen.

"When the tour began, someone asked me from the media whether it will be a battle of spin or a battle of seamers. At that time I said that it will be the test of batsmen, and I think they have remained under test throughout this series."

However, Khan admitted that Pakistan did slip into a difficult position. "After being dismissed for 99 we were in a difficult position. It was very disappointing, but the manner in which we have fought back and taken six wickets we will fight till the last ball. We will fight back and come back into this match and will try for a result in our favour," he said.

Khan is keen to get England out as early as possible. "We don't want England to get a big lead. We want to get them out as soon as possible. There is enough for all types of bowlers. Out of the 16 wickets that fell today nine were taken by fast bowlers and seven by the spinners which means a combination of fast and spin works here," said Khan
