Dubai: NMC Healthcare opener Mohammad Usman smashed a fine half-century and helped his team register an emphatic 76-run victory over Farooq CC supported by du in a Group ‘D’ match for the DCC Ramadan Cricket tournament being held at the Dubai Men’s College Fair Grounds Oval on Sunday night.
Usman hammered three boundaries and four huge sixes in his 45-ball 63 and powered NMC, who chose to bat first after their skipper Saqib Ali won the toss, to a good total of 203 for four in their allotted 25 overs.
It was a convincing batting display from NMC as their top-order chipped in with some useful contributions.
Apart from Usman, Ali was in good form as the NMC skipper smashed an unbeaten 48 off 38 balls with the help of three fours and two sixes.
