Australian batsman Mike Hussey talks exclusively to Radio 2 after his superb 195 on the third day of the first Ashes Test against England in Brisbane on Saturday.
Hussey went into the match with his place in the side being questioned but he answered his critics in the most emphatic fashion possible with a superb innings which helped Australia to 481 in its first innings, a lead of 221.
The 35 year-old left-hander tells Radio 2 he’s still pinching himself after the innings, especially after all the pressure he was under coming into the match.
He also praises batting partner Brad Haddin, who made 136 as the pair added 307, a record stand at The Gabba, and says that although Australia is now in a strong position, they are taking nothing for granted in their search for a win.
