Dubai: Pakistan's batting legends Inzamam-ul-Haq and Saeed Anwar, who once used to butcher bowlers, are now bringing their meat brands to Dubai.

‘Meat One', the brand name of the duo's business venture ,will be opening two branches in Dubai on Thursday with the duo attending the launch. One of the shops will be opened in Al Nahda near NMC Hospital while the second one will open in Motor City the same day.

As both the cricketers pleased cricket lovers with their aggressive and innovative shot-making, their meat brand will also not disappoint as it offers numerous varieties of meat cuts. The only difference being instead of mesmerising people with their square cuts or late cuts, they will now provide quality ‘Tikka cut', ‘Karachi cut' and ‘Biryani cut' at their shops.

"Our main aim is to bring this trusted brand to the UAE to ensure supply of best quality fresh ‘halal meat' to people here," said Asif Jabbar, Group CEO of Alif Investment, a Dubai-based company, which has got exclusive rights for Meat One for the UAE and other GCC countries.

Instant hit

"Meat One is an interesting one-stop meat shop as it not only provides a variety of meat including beef, mutton and chicken but will also offer ready to cook marinated meat items," said Jabbar.

Incidentally, their brand has been an instant hit in Karachi as nine outlets in the city were opened in just one year.

"Dubai is his [Inzamam's] first international venture and we are also planning to open outlets in Saudi Arabia and Qatar soon followed by other Gulf countries," said Jabbar.

Fine tikka cut! Biryani cut! Both these individuals were brilliant in cricket and entertained us with their amazing stroke plays. Am sure that meat offered by their shop would be top class :) Wishing both Saeed and Inzi all the best!
