Dubai: Pakistan team has lost another player to injury. Left-arm medium pacer Wahab Riaz has been ruled out of the Test series owing to an internal oblique muscle strain.

"Riaz has been ruled out of the Test series as his injury requires four to five weeks of rehabilitation to recover," remarked Intikhab Alam, the manager of the Paksitan team.

Before the start of the first Test, Pakistan had lost their star batsman Mohammad Yousuf who had ruptured his abductor muscle.

Riaz, who bowled 18 overs to take two wickets, suffered a muscle strain soon after taking the wicket of Hashim Amla on the first day. He had taken two wickets and looked very effective when he had to return to the pavilion.
Alam said that he will not seek a replacement.
