Dubai: Cricket legends Wasim Akram and Sachin Tendulkar will be in the city on Friday, October 9 to enthral fans with anecdotes from their playing days through talk show events.
United Sports Associates, the global sports event and talent management company, have launched a series of unique celebrity talk show events titled ‘Cricket and Beyond — Join the Conversation.’ Cricket commentator Harsha Bhogle will act as moderator of the talk show.
Tendulkar and Akram will arrive first at the Arabian Centre at 2pm and later in the evening at 8pm at the Rixos The Palm. Elaborating on the show, Raj Ramakrishnan, managing director of United Sports Associates, said: “‘Cricket and Beyond’ will feature conversations around cricket, [magical] moments and the life experiences of our sporting heroes. The show will feature state-of-the-art analytical technology presented in an interactive and entertaining fashion providing its physical and online audience with a once in a lifetime event.”
The global series of the future shows will be held in New York, Melbourne and London. On these locations, Tendulkar will be joined by superstars like Shane Warne and Brian Lara.
