Dubai: Eurocon Alubond edged past NASA Multiplex by 11 runs in the Dulsco Corporate Cricket tournament being played under floodlights at Zabeel Park.

Electing to bat first, Eurocon put on 196 runs for the loss of four wickets and later bowled out Multiplex for 185 runs in 19.5 overs.

Nasir Ali and Haris Baig scored half centuries for Eurocon. Ali hit an unbeaten 62 from 33 balls while opener Haris scored 54 from 26 deliveries.

The others, who contributed for Eurocon Alubond, included Jarnail Singh (21), Jaspreet (17), Amin M, and Azam (11 not out).

Multiplex began their chase in right earnest putting on 89 runs for the first wicket. Both openers, Sujeet and Anil D'Souza, scored half centuries but their colleagues failed to give them support. After Anil departed for 58 made from 26 balls with the help of five boundaries and four sixes, Sujeet saw wickets crumbling like nine pins at the other end.
