Sharjah: The second One Day International between Pakistan and South Africa at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium could be played in front of a sell-out crowd.

The demand for tickets for Friday’s match has been so high that many sections in the stadium have already been sold out.

Speaking to Gulf News, Maqbul Dudhia, General Manager Sports Business of Dubai Sports City, said: “The fact two of the finest teams Pakistan and South Africa are playing on a Friday evening is a huge attraction and spectators who can come for the match will have a great time. Hence the demand for tickets has been very high.”

Dudhia also revealed that demand for the two Twenty20 matches in Dubai are also high. “Platinum tickets for Friday’s match and the Twenty20 Internationals on Wednesday November 13 and Friday November 15 have all been sold out. To cater to the huge demand the ticket office at Dubai Sports City will be open from 9am on Friday morning.”

Tickets are available not only at Dubai Sports City, but also online at Box Office ME and Time Out Tickets, as well as a host of outlets throughout Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

“We appreciate that people have busy lives and so we want to ensure they have every opportunity to purchase tickets for these must-see matches under the lights of the Ring of Fire at the Dubai International Stadium,” said Dudhia.

Ticket prices for the one-dayer start from Dh30 and from Dh40 for the T20 matches
