Bukhatir league to be held as a day-night event
The Bukhatir league, which is the oldest cricket tournament in the UAE, will be held as a day-night event from 5pm at the Sharjah Stadium.

Sharjah: The Bukhatir league, which is the oldest cricket tournament in the UAE, will be held as a day-night event from 5pm at the Sharjah Stadium.
"All matches of the 34th edition of this tournament will commence from 5pm under floodlights. The matches will be played every day except Thursday, Friday and Saturday," remarked Mazhar Khan, the secretary of the Sharjah Cricket Council to Gulf News.
"For the first time we will have 16 teams participating in this A division tournament. Winners NMC are in Group B," added Khan.
In the First Mascon Cup Cricket tournament organised by Kashmir Cricket Club in Umm Al Quwain Zakhir Hussain scored an unbeaten century for Trading Enterprises Honda.
Zakhir scored 117 from 88 balls and hit 19 boundaries as Honda, batting first, amassed 308 for the loss of just three wickets and later restricted Graphic International to 101 for eight wickets in the allotted 25 overs.
In the other matches Abela Company Dubai edged past Impact Bbod CC by two wickets, Barclays beat Fakhruddin CC five runs, while Thumbay Group defeated L&T by three wickets. In the KCC Cup organised by Kashmir Cricket Club at Umm Al Quwain grounds. Hari's century went in vain as BMTS CC lost to Farooq CC by 34 runs.
Hari scored 108 from 66 deliveries and hit nine boundaries and seven sixes but could not help his team reach the victory target.
