Bindra: We will keep a close eye on him
The International Cricket Council (ICC) will monitor controversial Australian umpire Darrel Hair for his man-management skills for the next 12 months.

Mohali: The International Cricket Council (ICC) will monitor controversial Australian umpire Darrel Hair for his man-management skills for the next 12 months.
This was conveyed by ICC principal advisor-designate Inderjit Singh Bindra here on Friday.
Hair was removed from the ICC elite panel of umpires after a ball tampering controversy in a Pakistan-England Test match at London's Oval cricket ground in August 2006.
"We will review him after that," Bindra said.
The ICC, at its meeting last week, decided to reinstate Hair to the ICC elite umpires panel but said he would not officiate in any Test match involving Pakistan.
"He was voted as among the best umpires by cricket captains.
"But he had a problem with poor man-management skills, and has told ICC that he would improve," Bindra disclosed here.
The Oval cricket Test match was awarded to England after the Pakistani team was declared timed out by Hair and fellow umpire Billy Doctrove as the team failed to come out on the ground in time after a break.
Hair's reinstatement evoked critical reactions from Pakistani players.
But Bindra said the decision on Hair was unanimously taken by the ICC in the presence of Pakistan Cricket Board officials.
He said that the PCB has good influence in the ICC and nothing was done on the Hair reinstatement issue against the wishes of the Pakistani board.
