Bengaluru: Bengaluru has produced great spinners like Erapalli Prasanna, B.S. Chandrasekhar and Anil Kumble. These greats can be easily consulted for any bowling tips since all them love to be at this venue during a match.

So when Anil Kumble walked in on Friday, Pragyan Ojha was the first to greet him. Very soon they were seen in a long conversation, which Harbhajan Singh also joined.

If the wicket is to turn, the best man to be consulted is Kumble, who is still playing though he has retired from international cricket.

Singh even went on to bowl with Kumble studying his action very closely. After a few deliveries, he was seen consulting him on certain angles.

So, after this session when Kumble came out from the practice area, a few journalists wanted to know if he was summoned by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to assist the spinners.

"Does anybody need to call me to come to Chinnaswamy stadium?" he asked, making it clear he had come on his own.

Kumble also went into the Indian dressing room and patted Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni for the team's victory over Australia in Mohali.

"I just wanted to spend some time in the dressing room. It is nice to be with them," said Kumble, who had captained India against Australia.

Kumble also wished Rahul Dravid good luck to get a century this time on this venue.

Soon after Dravid's arrival in Bengaluru, he had mentioned that though he has many centuries in international cricket, he is yet to get a ton here.

As soon as Dravid walked out into the ground on Saturday, fans gave their local hero a standing ovation.
