Dubai: Anchor Marine lifted the UAE National Day seven-a-side cricket cup defeating Trade Allianz Al Badr Cricket Club by 13 runs.

This tournament was held at the Seven Seas ground under the auspices of the Dubai Cricket Council.

Batting first, Anchor Marine scored 71 for 1 in 5 overs. Husnain top scored with 30 runs.

Trade Allianz Al Badr got to score only 58 for 3 in 5 overs. Vikrant and Sohail hit 20 runs each.

In the earlier round matches, Uttaranchal Club down Desert King Waterproofing by one wicket while Enoc down Dubai Spartan by 28 runs.

Seven Seas Cricket Club got the better of Eleven on Top by six wickets while Trade Allianz Al Badr beat ECT Dubai by six wickets.

Meanwhile, Anchor Marine beat Uttaranchal Club by seven runs.

In the first semi-final: Trade Allianz Al Badr beat Enoc by five wickets while in the second semi-final, Anchor Marine beat Seven Seas by 5 wickets.

Ghazal legend Ghulam Ali gave away the prizes.

In the G Force Premier League, Mehfil Cricket Club entered the knock out stage beating Seven Seas Strikers.

Pervaiz's spell of 4 for 18 destroyed Seven Seas Strikers who were all out for 84 runs. Mehfil reached the target in just 11 overs.
