Abu Dhabi: Emirates Islamic Bank beat Fly Emirates by six wickets, while Arab Udupi and the Inter-Oil Companies beat Emirates Cricket Board Blues and Seven Seas, respectively, in laste weekend's ADCC Division 1 fixtures here at the Shaikh Zayed Stadium.

The bankers dismissed Fly Emirates for 209 and knocked off the winning runs in 33.3 overs, thanks to an unbroken 116-run stand between Mohammad Adnan and Usman Saleem, an ADCC press release said.

Adnan stroked a top score of 70 not out for his side to resurrect their inning when they were 97 for four. He hit 9 fours and 3 sixes, while Saleem chipped in with a useful unbeaten 45, as the pair took the team's total past the target in 33.3 overs.

Zahid Shah and Naeem Khan did the early damage by claiming three wickets each, while Arshad Ali (51) and Saby Fernandes (56) were the only batsmen to chip in with useful contributions for Fly Emirates.
