Abu Dhabi: ADMA-OPCO will take on ADNOC Distribution in the A Division final of the NDC-sponsored 19th ADNOC Group Cricket Tournament 2103 on Saturday.

In Saturday’s semi-finals, ADMA-OPCO defeated NPCC by 43 runs while ADNOC Distribution got the better of TAKREER by ten wickets to advance to the final.

Rashid Mehmoud followed up his unbeaten 64 with a 3 for 39 spell to dash NPCC’s hopes of a final berth. NPCC also had their own heroes in Suraj Raju (52) and were boosted by a three-wicket haul by Senthil Nathan, but their contributions went in vain.

After Umair Qadeer did the bulk of the damage with three wickets to restrict TAKREER to 125 runs, veteran Imran Zia (67 n.o) and Hanshaj Hamza (46 n.o) made victory look easy with an unbeaten 129-run opening partnership.

In the Division B semi finals, NDC put up splendid display to defeat favourites ADNOC by seven wickets, while FERTIL cruised to a four-wicket victory over Petroleum Institute.

The winners NDC and FERTIL were helped by all-round displays by Imran Ahmad and Ammar Javed respectively.
