Shah Rukh Khan ringing in new year in Dubai

After a busy year, many Bollywood celebrities are planning to ring in the new year with their loved ones in exotic locales.

We have it on good information that Shah Rukh Khan will be spending time with family in Dubai.

Aamir Khan is in Switzerland with wife Kiran Rao and son Azad.

However, Salman Khan, when asked about his New Year’s plan, said, “Nothing, just work. Like every year.”

Dabangg star Salman recently celebrated his 50th birthday at his farmhouse in Panvel.

Couples’ celebration

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are reportedly going to be in Mexico for the new year, while Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone will be in Europe.

The royal Bollywood couple — Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan — will be in the snowcapped mountain region of Switzerland to welcome the new year.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who made her comeback on the silver screen with Jazbaa, along with her actor husband Abhishek Bachchan and daughter Aaradhya celebrated Christmas in New York and the couple plan to cap off the year there as well.

“Wishing everyone a very happy and a prosperous new year,” Rai Bachchan said.

Actress Vidya Balan has flown to an undisclosed location for ten days with her husband Siddharth Roy Kapoor for the new year and also for her birthday, which is on January 1.

This is reportedly the first time Balan will be away from parents on her birthday.

Girls’ getaway

Actress Priyanka Chopra, who has garnered applause for her performance as Kashibai in Bajirao Mastani, is with her girl gang abroad.

Fashionista Sonam Kapoor, elated with the response to her role in Salman Khan film Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, will hit the shores of Maldives to ring in 2016.

“I am going to Maldives with my friends. I don’t keep resolutions, as I break them,” Kapoor said.

Sonakshi Sinha will be in Bengaluru as her best friend is getting married next year.

Family time

Actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra is in London along with husband Raj Kundra and son.

Actress Tamannah Bhatia, who was part of blockbuster Bahubali, is taking her parents on an international tour this New Year’s Eve. The family will be in Charlotte, North Carolina, where they will spend the New Year week.

“I am satisfied with the way 2015 has gone and I am really looking forward for the coming year to be even more fun-filled. I wish all my loved ones a very happy new year and have a wonderful year ahead,” she added.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee will celebrate the new year in Delhi with his relatives and in-laws. He has decided to make this trip special by visiting ancient monuments and historical sites in Delhi.

“I would like to wish everyone a happy new year. Wishing everyone a year full of love, peace and prosperity,” he said.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai will be with his family in Goa.

Actor Sonu Sood will be joined by his family in Bejing, where he is shooting with Jackie Chan for Kung Fu Yoga.

Host-actor Manish Paul is on holiday with his family in Dubai.

Newcomer Bhumi Pednekar of Dum Laga Ke Haisha fame has no party plans.

“I think I would be working on the New Year and it is a good thing,” she said.

Kamal Hassan and Sarika’s daughter Akshara, who made her debut with Shamitabh, will be out of India celebrating New Year.

Shahid Kapoor’s sister Sanah, who made her acting debut in Shaandaar, will be spending New Year’s night with her family and a few close friends at a family friend’s house.
