Dubai: Four different players scored as Shabab Al Ahli Dubai rebounded in fine fashion to a 4-0 thrashing of Emirates Club Ras Al Khaimah at the end of the fourth round matches of the Arabian Gulf League (AGL) late on Saturday.

Stunned 1-2 by Al Ain in their last match, Shabab Al Ahli Dubai dominated to power to a rampant win that sees them in third place with nine points behind early leaders Al Wasl and Al Ain with ten points apiece. Earlier in the day, Al Ain had fought their way back from a two-goal deficit and secure a 3-2 win over Ajman to occupy their spot at the top with Al Wasl.

It was Makhete Diop getting things going under way when he connected a cross from the right in the tenth minute and give the home side the lead. Henirque Luvannor doubled the lead in the 25th minute and Moussa Sow – once again drafted into Cosmin Olaroiu’s side after his return from loan at Turkey’s Besiktas – made it 3-0 at the half-time whistle.

Korean recruit Chang Jin Moon then capped a memorable debut at the end of the game with a fine goal to wrap up three points and the thumping win for the newly-formed club.
