‘Shaandaar’s’ teaser poster unveiled
The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt
The sneak peek of upcoming film Shaandaar, which will see Shahid Kapoor teaming up with Alia Bhatt for the first time, was unveiled on Tuesday.
In the poster, Bhatt, 22, is seen dozing off with the 34-year-old actor on a bench with rags surrounding them.
Shandaar, a film that will have a destination wedding as its premise, is directed by Vikas Bahl of Queen fame and it marks Kapoor’s first movie after his wedding to Mira Rajput.
“Falling off to sleep, wake me up tomorrow #ShaandaarFirstLookTomorrow,” Kapoor posted on Twitter.
Bhatt wrote, “Sleeping DND till tomorrow!!! #ShaandaarFirstLookTomorrow.”
The teaser poster does not reveal much about the film but it indicates that the pair are romantically linked as there are two heart-shaped clouds above them.
Shaandar is co-produced by Dharma Productions along with Phantom Films
The film’s first trailer is expected to be attached to Karan Malhotra’s Brothers, which stars Akshay Kumar, Sidharth Malhotra and Jacqueline Fernandez.
