After producing Tamil film Kalvanin Kadhali in 2006, ad-film maker Lakshman is ready with his first feature film, Romeo Juliet. Jeyam Ravi and Hansika Motwani play the lead with Poonam Bajwa playing the second heroine.
About his character, Ravi said, “Karthik is one of the few today who believes in true and eternal love. He is a gym trainer, who might seem macho on the outside but is a sensitive person.”
“What is love and why should we love? That’s Karthik for you.”
Motwani plays a flight attendant.
“She is a modern girl in the story and one who looks for security in a relationship,” said Lakshman, who assisted Tamil director S.J. Suryah for some time.
“She believes in planning things well ahead.”
With Bajwa in the story, is it a case of a love triangle?
Laksman merely smiles and does not reveal anything more.
Other members of the cast are Vamsi Krishna and V.T. V. Ganesh.
