Ranbir Kapoor skips ‘Bigg Boss’ for ‘personal reasons’
His equation with the reality show’s host, Salman Khan, is said to be less than cordial
Indian actor Ranbir Kapoor explained his absence on the Bigg Boss segment that promoted his upcoming movie, Tamasha. He said: “Deepika and the marketing team thought Bigg Boss is a big platform to promote the film. But I didn’t go for my own personal reasons.”
Kapoor, 33, is rumoured to be dating Khan’s ex-girlfriend Katrina Kaif.
While the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star is still friends with Kaif, he apparently does not have a good equation with Kapoor.
Padukone, 29, was seen promoting Tamasha on the reality show.
Khan, 49, was seen in a supporting role in Kapoor’s Bollywood debut Saawariya and made a cameo appearance in the latter’s Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani, which also starred Kaif.
Kapoor, Padukone and director Imtiaz Ali were in the capital to promote Tamasha.
This is the second time Kapoor is collaborating with the director after their 2011 hit Rockstar, while it is Padukone’s third film with Ali after Love Aaj Kal and Cocktail.
