Dubai: Radio 4 missed out on a place in the semi-final of the Ramadan Indoor Cricket Tournament at Dubai Sports City’s ICC Academy by just one bonus point.
The broadcasters would have gone through in place of Dubai Lions — who they beat by two runs — but they were eliminated on the basis of net runs, which are runs scored minus runs conceded.
The Lions will now play DBMSC Steel One in the semi-finals, while Danube face Oxford Marine in a repeat of the recent Midnight Cricket League final.
