Preity Zinta says she’s not a ’90s actress

Preity Zinta slammed media for “incorrectly” calling her and Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega co-star Rani Mukerjee actresses of the 90s.

Zinta, 40, who met Mukerjee at a recent Diwali party, posted a selfie with the pregnant actress on Twitter, and wrote: “Wonder why everyone in the media says that they, miss Rani & My movies from the 90ties? I only had Dil Se, Soldier (98) & Sangharsh (99).

“Rani and I worked in movies in 2000 & every 2 years after that. So technically I guess everyone has got the decade wrong. Isn’t that strange?,” she tweeted. The duo worked together in movies including Chori Chori Chupke Chupke (2001), Veera Zaara (2004) and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna (2006). Rani was last seen in husband Aditya Chopra’s production Mardaani in 2014.

Zinta, who last appeared in Saif Ali Khan’s Happy Ending in 2014, will be next seen opposite Sunny Deol in Bhaiyyaji Superhitt.
