The stature and prestige of Islam appears to be at stake and in grave jeopardy at the hands of two obnoxious and malicious enemies — the barbaric terrorists on one side, and the blasphemous caricaturists on the other.

The enemies of Islam are well aware of the very fact that Muslims could sacrifice their lives, possessions, needs and comfort but would never make even the slightest compromise on the dignity of their Creator, their Prophet (PBUH) and their script. Therefore, the nasty minds have launched the condemnable campaign of drawing the blasphemous caricatures of the holiest personality, so that Muslims could be agonised both mentally and emotionally.

On the one hand, the nefarious terrorists, funded and trained by the “invisible hands” look determined to slaughter the Muslim men, and dishonour and kill their women and children by inflicting worst possible tortures and agonies upon them; and on the other side, the brethren of these nasty terrorists provide moral and strategic support to the terrorists by portraying them to be the members of the Muslim community. These caricaturists, through their writings and cartoons intend to present Islam as the faith embraced and emulated by cruel and barbaric individuals.

It is the ripe time that global authorities associated with political, social, cultural, religious, economic, educational and media affairs must take the gruesome issue of the character assassination of the noblest spiritual personality in the name of freedom of thought, in a considerate and considerable manner and as an emergency, otherwise, Nature is there to take revenge from the individuals indulging in launching the cruel, atrocious and tyrannical campaign of defaming the religion of peace. It is time that global authorities introduce and implement ethical and moral codes for the individuals associated with media and all other departments and professions, through which every type of hurting and damaging the sentiments of others on the foundations of ethnic, racial, religious, regional, economic, social, cultural and political differences, will be strictly banned.
