Singer Nick Jonas honoured victims of the Orlando shooting while accepting iHeartRadio MMVA’s award in Toronto.

During iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards on June 19, the former Jonas Brothers member received the international artist of the year award.

While thanking fans for his trophy, he couldn’t help but stop and pay tribute to those who were killed at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando, Florida.

“It’s been a tough couple of weeks. A lot of hate and violence in the world. But it’s moments like this where we can all come together and celebrate the good times and be full of joy and happiness,” he said. “It’s a beautiful thing so thank you for this.”

He continued: “I dedicate this to all the families and victims of the shootings recently. We love you and we have not forgotten.”
