Dubai: A new video released online shows the world’s only formation wing walking team carrying out a series of dramatic stunts near Bur Khalifa and the Palm Jumeirah.
According to organisers, Skydive Dubai and Breitling collaborated in the short film to mark six months of the launch of their exclusive partnership.
In the two-and-a-half minute video, the narrator said: “Our team is the world’s only formation wing walking team, and its our job, and also a very enjoyable job, to go around the world performing at different airshows as we go.”
The video shows the iconic Breitling Wingwalkers joined by the Skydive Dubai Wingsuit team, Skydive Dubai Swoop team, Skydive Dubai Canopy team and the Skydive Dubai flag jumpers to perform a series of loops, rolls and swoops in unison over the Dubai skyline.
“I felt this flight from the start would be very difficult because we were trying to marry together the three different sizes of wings, two teams of skydiving and wing walking.
“So there was a large variation of speed that we had to achieve, and everything was happening on a downward trend,” he said.
Nasser Al Neyadi, Chairman of Skydive Dubai, said: “We have been cultivating and growing our Skydive Dubai offering since 2010, and we now provide the best skydiving experience in the world.
