Dubai: Artistic, handcrafted products by young people with special needs are up for sale at Smiles n’ Stuff Store in Dubai as part of a fundraising activity by Al Noor Training Centre.

The hand-crafted items ranging from souvenirs, fashion accessories and clothing to home improvement items, desktop accessories, bakery goods and many more were crafted by children between the ages of 14 and 18 enrolled at Al Noor, who have been trained in wood design technology, fashion technology, printing technology and a bakery unit.

Smiles n’ Stuff” Store in Dubai Duty Free is currently displaying Al Noor Centre’s branded merchandise. The entire proceeds from sales will be used to contribute to the welfare of Al Noor students.

This year the collection boasts designs inspired by the local culture and heritage. Apart from the involvement of students, local artist Sanaa Merchant from Kobo Art Gallery has contributed one of her art works for the collection.

Several corporates have proactively encouraged Smiles n’ Stuff by conducting corporate bazaars which have been a huge attraction among students, volunteers and residents of Dubai.

More corporates and individuals are invited to collaborate with Al Noor through corporate bazaars, bake sales, coffee mornings, bulk orders, bakery orders and customised orders and contribute to the fundraising initiative of the centre.
