Dubai: Gone are the days when children would drag themselves, bored, behind their parents at a museum.

At the Louvre Abu Dhabi, children will belong.

It’s all thanks to the Louvre’s Children’s Museum, a space dedicated for kids, that extends across two whole floors.

According to the museum’s website: “This specially designated section of Louvre Abu Dhabi hosts family-focused exhibitions and interactive workshops in Arabic and English. The aim is to inspire young minds by teaching children about artistic techniques and ideas.”

While the space has been created, keeping in mind children aged between six and twelve years old, parents can accompany them too, and participate in their artistic adventure.

Parents will also be happy to know: Children under the age of 13 enter the museum for free!
