Ministry to partner Dubai Police for upliftment of youth

The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development has reached an agreement with Dubai Police to forge a partnership on issues relating to youth and security.

Dubai: The Ministry of Culture, Youth and Community Development has reached an agreement with Dubai Police to forge a partnership on issues relating to youth and security.

As per the agreement, the ministry will organise community development programmes and activities aimed at enhancing a sense of security in society besides cultural events in coordination with Dubai Police.

Abdul Rahman Mohammad Al Owais, Minister of Culture, Youth and Community Development, said the agreement represented an important chance for coordination among local government departments and federal ministries and presented possibilities for cooperation and information exchange.

"The agreement is in line with the ministry's efforts to bring national identity issues to the forefront and support them with social development programmes," he said.
