Majid to attend closing ceremony of Gulf Film Festival
Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Culture and Arts Authority, will attend the closing ceremony of the Gulf Film Festival on Friday.
Dubai: Shaikh Majid Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Culture and Arts Authority, will attend the closing ceremony of the Gulf Film Festival on Friday.
The ceremony will include an awards ceremony honouring participants and winners from the UAE and GCC countries.
Many artists from the GCC will attend the ceremony, including Abdul Hussain Abdul Reda, Sa'ad Al Faraj, Mohammad Al Mansour and Zahra Arafat from Kuwait, Abdullah Abdul Malek, Fatima Abdul Rahim, Abdul Aziz Jasem, Haifa Hussain and Anwar Ahmad from Qatar, and Saleh Za'al from Oman.
UAE artists attending the ceremony include Ali Al Abdul, Dr Habib Ghuloum, Mariam Sultan, Samira Ahmad, Bilal Abdullah, Mouza Al Mazroui and Jaber Naghmoush.
A judging panel including Egyptian actor Daoud Abdul Sayed, Iraqi critic Erfan Rasheed, Omani director and critic Abdullah Habib and Emirate actor Ahmad Al Jasmi will select the winners.
