Cultural nights on offer in Abu Dhabi
The Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Heritage (ADACH) has launched a variety of programmes being held each Wednesday evening at the Cultural Foundation.

On January 14 there will be a fine arts evening in which Dr Najat Maki will deliver a lecture on new developments and trends in the fine arts movement.
Calligraphy
An Arabic calligraphy night will be held on January 21 with Dr Ahmad Mustafa.
"Reality about children in the UAE" is the title of Dr Mohammad Al Baili's lecture on January 28. Al Baili will focus on all elements related to building a child's character.
On February 4, Ghaya Al Daheri will talk about the role of tradition and heritage in raising children; her focus will be in strengthening national identity through this tool.
High-profile
On February 11, the former Lebanese minister of finance Dr George Qorom will deliver a lecture on the relationship between intellectuals and authorities.
A poetry night will be held on February 18 with Kanan Ali, who is considered a high-profile contemporary poet.
The concluding day on February 25 will be with Dr Mohammad Bu Oliba from Mauretania, who will talk about the impact of globalisation on local cultures.
