Reader raises issue with his Blackberry plan
Mr Sarfraz Mansuri of Dubai says:
This is regarding my complaint against etisalat. I had purchased a Blackberry Bold 9000 from etisalat in September 2008 with an installment payment plan for 12 months.
The installment amount was of Dh195. My installment, which was to get over in August 2009 has continued till date. They have charged me for 8 more months even though my installment was over.
I never realised this before cause I never went through my bill details.
I registered a complaint on April 20 with etisalat and since then, there has been no response from them.
I call them every day and they don't seem to respond. Could you please look into this and help me out?

Kindly be informed that Blackberry account for Mr Mansuri has been corrected and customer has been informed.
Mr Mansuri responds:
Gulf News intervention was the only way this matter got resolved. Yes, the money was finally returned to me... and was conveniently deducted from my current bill instead of giving me a cash refund. But I'm not complaining.
