Return my money

I had used my credit card to book a return ticket along the Dubai-Cochin sector. However, the Cochin-Dubai flight was cancelled by Air India Express. On October 19, 2013, Air India Express had confirmed that the refund would be made to my account (my credit card used for the booking) in 10-12 working days.

Thereafter, I have sent 10 or 12 reminders requesting the refund, which till date has not been done. On the advice of their Customer Support department, I even sent e-mails to some individuals, all of which were met with complete silence and inaction.

I hope through the intervention of Gulf News, this long-pending issue would be resolved and the money returned. It has been more than five months since Air India Express has been holding on to the refund without releasing it.

The refund of Dh191.51 has been made on April 12, 2014. The customer can kindly verify the same with his bank.
