‘Seeing a child become excited to try something new, an adult laugh so hard that they cry or a senior citizen smile and call you family is simply priceless.’
Words can’t even begin to express how rewarding it is to volunteer with the Clowns Who Care Project.
I originally got involved with the project because I wanted to be a part of a volunteer program that used various forms of art to bring joy and laughter to those in need.
As a volunteer for the CWC project, you’re not just spending time with those in need, you’re teaching the individuals you visit artistic skills that they can continue to utilize even when you’re not present.
Having the opportunity to teach and pass your skills on to others who are incredibly eager to learn is beyond rewarding for me. Donating even two hours of your time in exchange for seeing a child become excited to try something new, an adult laugh so hard that they cry or a senior citizen smile and call you family is simply priceless.
I would highly recommend volunteering with the Clowns Who Care Project to anyone who is interested in spreading happiness and love to those in need.
