While I was waiting for the new signal on Kalba Road — located on the road from University heading towards the National Paints Roundabout — to change, a man suddenly reversed his car, turned to the right, jumped the divider and sped off down the service road. A few minutes later another vehicle repeated the same feat.
Early in the morning people are so impatient that they don't even want to wait a few minutes for the signal to turn green and their irresponsible behaviour risks so many lives, including their own.
People need to be aware of their limits on the road and learn to keep their cool while behind the wheel.
