I reside in The Gardens, Jebel Ali. There are two schools located adjacent to the main roundabout. Both schools have not provided any specific drop-off area for students that travel on private transportation and hence during the time between 7.35 and 7.55am, there is a lot of commotion on the roads leading to these two schools.

Vehicles are parked all over the road, using up almost one track, blocking the bus stop, the roundabout and even the pedestrian crossings.

Parking the car at a pedestrian crossing is the most dangerous and least acceptable practice. The school children who live nearby walk to school and they have to walk between these parked cars while crossing the road as if going through a maze.

I also often see motorists entering the u-turn in front of one of these schools from the wrong side. I therefore request the concerned authorities to look into this matter and take necessary action at the earliest.
