I want to bring to the attention of the concerned authorities that a bus shelter is needed at Union Metro station in Deira. The Roads and Transport Authority bus stop nearby does not have any bus shelters.

Union station is one of the busier and bigger stations but it lacks a bus stand

- The Union Metro Station is lacking a bus shelter, which forces commuters to wait for the bus outside in the heat.
Commuters, who have to catch the bus during afternoon hours, have to spend their time standing under the sun. The distance from the Metro station to the bus stop is quite a walk so people cannot stand in the station to get some shade from the scorching sun.
Being a prime Metro station, there are a lot of passengers coming out of this station. To ease the commuters’ plight, I request that the authorities make adequate arrangement for a bus shelter.
