When heading towards Lulu Centre on Baghdad Road in Dubai, there is a traffic light beside the school in that area that people try to avoid by driving through the pedestrian crossing.

All of the people who pick up their students from school get onto the main road in this manner. They go over the pavement and block the pedestrian crossing. Recently the school area was cordoned off with metal poles or barricades, but there was one gap between the barricades.

Instead of taking the service road around the school, which leads to the main road, people just cross here instead.

People do this everyday and there is always a long line of cars exiting the area like this. Authorities should close this gap so people have to exit the right way — through the service road.
