It’s a new day in the Al Nahda area, Dubai. I stand in front of my car at 7am, ready to take my children to school and reach my workplace. And then I see all the business cards left on my car’s window.

Every day my car door window is covered with at least four business cards for massage parlours! Some of the cards have offensive pictures with inappropriately sensual messages as well.

The cars parked next to mine, the pavement and even the street are loaded with similar cards by the hundreds.

This phenomenon is expanding widely and drastically all over Dubai, especially in highly populated areas like Al Nahda, Tecom, Bur Dubai and many other places.

The main problem of this phenomenon is that car users and their families are forced to see these advertisements on a daily basis, where children can easily take these cards and see the undesired pictures.

The other concern is spoiling the city’s image and cleanliness. I request the relevant authorities to look into this issue and take necessary action to stop this phenomenon.
