Bins are a menace in Bur Dubai

This is to bring to the notice of the authorities that there are two public waste bins placed incorrectly near the old Pakistani Consulate area, in Bur Dubai.

The bins are located in front of Building 40, and are causing a real problem for residents residing there.

These garbage bins are always overflowing and are placed in an area where the smell of the trash is so bad that people cannot even stand by their windows to admire the view.

Residents have to keep their doors and windows closed at all times to avoid this stench. The smell is also having a bad effect on people's health — more so now because of the soaring temperature.

There are better places available in the vicinity where the bins could easily be relocated.

I would appreciate it if the matter could be addressed at the earliest opportunity to reduce the inconvenience to the residents and make our neighbourhood a better place to live in.
