Museum devoted to Ronaldo opens in Dubai
Take a selfie with your favourite Real Madrid player — well, his waxwork, at least
Football fans will be able to get up close and personal with sporting history as the travelling Cristiano Ronaldo-themed CR7 museum comes to Dubai this month. Curated by Miguel Paixao, the exhibition is at The Beach district in Dubai until January 31.
The museum includes guided tours about the athlete’s life both on and off the pitch, and houses trophies such the Golden Ball, Golden Shoe, and Premier League Cup.
Other attractions on offer are a virtual shooting pitch, a life-size wax statue of Ronaldo, and a gift store with jerseys, bags and autographed merchandise. Open daily from 10am-1am, entry is Dh50 (Dh150 for a family of up to four). Children below three go free.
