Still, at least this justifies raising the issues with those involved, and even more important, beginning the process of seeking a workable solution.

Few things annoy you more than those who insist on having the last word and, worse, who refuse even to consider the possibility their views could be wrong. Yet not only is that the case, you must deal with them regularly. Say nothing. The facts will emerge, and in their own time.
