UAE nationals to get access to top coaching

Dubai: UAE Rugby hope to recruit the next generation of Emirati talent after signing a partnership with the Vocational Education Development Centre (VEDC).

The sport's governing body will house their first UAE Rugby Regional Development Centre at VEDC, giving nationals enrolled at the centre access to high quality coaching.

The VEDC — accredited by the Ministry of Education and governed by the Abu Dhabi Vocational Education and Training Institute (ADVETI) — specialises in providing vocational learning pathways that lead to a guaranteed offer of employment.

Future growth

"This partnership is integral to the development of Emiratis into the game of rugby and will also create sustainable futures for young Emirati men in sport and their careers" said UAE Rugby's chairman Mohammad Falaknaz.
