Las Vegas airport officials are freshening up the funny videos that play at security checkpoints.

Tourism officials announced earlier this month they are releasing eight new videos illustrating Transportation Security Administration policies as travellers wait for a screening at McCarran International Airport.

The videos feature Las Vegas comedians Carrot Top and Louie Anderson, as well as ventriloquist Terry Fator, performers from the Blue Man Group and others.

The airport was the first to create quirky checkpoint videos when it released a set in 2004. But agency rules have changed in the past decade and officials said it was time for something new.
