An Indian security guard, working for the Dubai Ports Authority, has become the latest Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire by winning Series 50 of the popular promotion.

Abdul Karim Ajeer, a 38-year-old father of two, bought ticket number 0984 while travelling to India on annual leave.

To mark the 50th Millennium Millionaire, Dubai Duty Free decided to make it a double day of winners.
So it also conducted the draw for Series 51.

Lebanese lottery consultant Abi Ghanem Fares, holder of ticket no 2965, also became richer by $1 million (Dh3.67 million).

After the draws, Colm McLoughlin, managing director, DDF, and another officials presented the ceremonial cheque to Jordanian national Alaa Arif Batayneh, winner of the Millennium Millionaire in series no 49.

Next, Finest Surprise luxury car winners were picked.

A medical student from Sharjah, Justin Wilson, 18, is now a proud owner of a Mercedes Benz S500 in Series 1199 with ticket no 0067. Jannot Bertrand, an Air France steward for 24 years, won a Harley Davidson FLHRSI bike in Series 56 with ticket number 0980.

Zaid Abunwar, a Dubai-based sales manager from Microsoft, won a Porsche 911 Targa Zaid with ticket no 0058 in Series 1195.

Earlier Finest Surprise winners were also presented their cars and bikes.
