Two British acts from the 80s are returning to Dubai. Reggae band UB40 and R ‘n’B star Billy Ocean will perform at the Dubai Duty Free Tennis Stadium on March 24.
UB40 are best known for hits such as Red, Red Wine and Can’t Help Falling In Love With You, while Billy Ocean is best known for the Grammy-winning Caribbean Queen, When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going and Get Outta My Dreams, And Into My Car.
UB40’s Dubai line-up will be frontman Ali Campbell, keyboardist Mickey Virtue and rapper Astro. The trio make up one of two current formations of the band operating under the same name following a split in 2008.
